Thanks for visiting...I am Michael Hoover...a Scenic Designer based in Minneapolis! 

For decades I was employed full-time as the Head of Scenic Art at the Guthrie Theater. The images posted on this site are a sampling of the scenic designs that I created for many theaters...both locally and nationally...as a freelance designer...in my spare time! 

I am now focusing solely on my freelance career. I would love to design a production for you!
